Lieberhof Tegernsee in Tegernsee

Wonderfully located inn above Tegernsee with a great panorama and a beautiful ambience. We enjoyed the great view on the terrace with a Tegernseer Hell. The pancake soup and the pumpkin cream soup are very tasty, the Kaiserschmarrn is really great. We keep our fingers crossed for the landlords for the near future and look forward to seeing you again.

Very friendly staff, great view of the lake from the terrace and good coffee. It is better to stop here after the ascent than in the inn on the tour.

Great atmosphere with an open tiled stove. Really cozy and warm. The food was very nicely presented and delicious. Salad was fresh with very good dressing. My fish with risotto was delicious. The waiter was very nice and brisk. I can only recommend it. The prices are a bit high, but with the whole package it is okay.

The food was ok for the service and the food was not justified. We had reserved a table relatively early with a good view of the Tegernsee. Unfortunately we got a table at the beginning of the courtyard without any good view. On request we were seated at another table that had a semi-good view. Again when we asked why we couldn't sit down at a table that had a very good view where nothing was reserved and was still free, we were told that only four people were allowed to sit there. But after about 15 minutes we saw that two people were sitting there. After the waitress came back we asked why these people were allowed to sit down there, and it was said that this would have been a preferred place. But we did that too?!?! Very funny…….

We were very spontaneous in the restaurant. The view is terrific. The waiter was a bit moody at the beginning but he recovered quickly. The food was very good and tasty. I can recommend it.

Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired. The kitchen couldn't save it. Two pried for the look.

The highlights are the view and the good service. An unbelievable number of wasps really messed up our food outside. 10-15 wasps at the table at the same time. Instead of luring the wasps away with sweets / traps at unoccupied tables, everything was meticulously cleared away, so that the wasps rushed straight back onto the tables with food. Food was of good quality, but quantities varied extremely. The salmon trout was a small diet portion, but the roast pork was hard to manage.

We were spontaneously with you on Friday. The service was very friendly. The food was great too. The choice of dishes wasn't too much, it's a shame that you didn't have a children's menu or that you didn't ask us what we could offer the children. Your view is of course incredibly impressive.

A beautiful place above the Tegernsee. So far we have been happy to come here. But now a big annoyance: We wanted to share a portion of roast pork as a snack for two, so we ordered a second potato dumpling. The service lady explained that this would cost € 3.50, but she would also split the portion over two plates. We gladly accepted this. When it came to paying, we were told: the extra dumpling does not cost € 3.50 but € 4.50 !!, and there is a surcharge of € 3.50 for extra gravy on the second plate !!! calculated. The roast pork was good, but the overcharge method is pretty outrageous. Should the corona-related decline in sales be made up a little?

We are currently sitting here enjoying the peace and quiet and the view which is really fantastic. The food was really tasty. We had the salmon trout, the Wiener Schnitzel and the onion roast. Again and again when we are at Tegernsee.

Great place to stop for a drink between Schliersee and Tegernsee trekking

I reserved a table weeks ago with the request to be allowed to sit in the direction of the lake, as I have been a frequent guest and would like to enjoy the beautiful view. After the first waiter ran away while waiting for the table, another couple was waiting behind us, mind you which came after us, without a reservation. The couple got a table at the lake without being asked. We were then escorted to the back and brought to the last table with a view of the lake. After further inquiries, although free places were available, we were put off. A shame, that was our last stay. Eat well as always.

The operators apparently do not have to tell their staff to be friendly - when asked if you could get something to eat on Sunday evening at 8pm, the answer was: "Oh noeee". Never again!

Eating, view and service very good

A hotspot for both locals and tourists. Traditional half-timber decoration that gives you warm feeling instantly. The food price is slightly expensive for the quality. I ordered the pull pork burger, the meat was chewy and hard but the drinks were good value. Overall worth stopping for a beer.

Great view, horrible service. Pointed out glass of wine had some cork in it, waitress merely acknowledged, it happens, it was a new bottle. Tried to order dessert and was told the kitchen had closed. No warning or taking final orders. Bathrooms not marked at all. Tried to ask wait staff but they refused to acknowledge my presence.

Bit of a hike but you're reward with not only a great view and an adorable interior but the food is quite good too. The service was attentive and polite. I subtracted some Stars because mostly because the food was "only" good.

Traditional Balcony Restaurant with fantastic view onto Tegernsee This place is best reach by car. They offer a good menu and the balcony is the perfect place on a sunny day to enjoy a beer 🍺 or coffee☕ or enjoy on of wonderful meals they offer.

A cozy Berggssthof with a very good kitchen, a top view and friendly and fast staff. The detour and the additional altitude have more than paid off for us. We felt very well in all respects, on the next visit gladly again.

Super delicious food, especially the schnitzel and roast beef. Cozy atmosphere and nice service. Very nice view of the Tegernsee and the surrounding mountains. Always worth a visit!

Waited 45 minutes for food that was very unspectacular , which arrived the wrong side. The service was also very unattentive. The only thing good was the view.

The food was OK, a bit expensive. The location was great. But there was an old waitress lady, that was super unfriendly, she did not want to open the umbrella to protect my son from the sun, as it looked like it was going to rain later. I will not come back

Extremely long waiting times. Ordered two salads, restaurant not full and normal time but yet had to wait 50min for a cold dish. However the view and location was great. If the waiting time would decrease, this place could be amazing...
